today, i listened to this song with intention and it made me realize that rumination can kill us if we allow it and it could be the reason why people are at war with themselves. i remember seeing a clip of sza being asked by a fan, “sza, where them good days you be talking bout bitch???” after listening to this, homegirl gave us the formula to having a good day!! get out of your mind, don’t dwell on the past, and never live with regrets just be delusional and act like it never happened. i know it’s easier said than done for some but being happy in the midst of chaos is possible.
